Not-so-useless facts#2: What's in a cigarette?



Now in Chemistry, we are studying about Addictive Substance and Psychotropic. Which is pretty much why we made this article in the first place but first, let me explain a little bit about cigarettes.

Cigarettes are made of tobacco plant that convolution in a cover. Cigarettes was made at the first time was in 1920s but no one knows what’s the cigarette bad effect. But as long as technology grows, after 70 years later, finally people know the bad effect of cigarette. Research show that a cigarette is like a small chemical factory that can makes 4.000 chemical materials, that the majority of 4.000 materials are dangerous for body and health.

Now since you know at least a little bit about what a cigar is now let's talk about the dangerous materials you can find inside a cigar. Let's take a look at the picture below that shows the content of one cigar:



But even if you don't smoke cigars, the smoke of a cigar is also dangerous. The substance in Cigarettes’ smoke contains:
1. Tar
2. Carbon Monoxide (co)
3. Substance that can cause irritation and carcinogenic

Smoking is bad for you and the people around you, it can also cause awful diseases like cancer. Smoking is also bad  for your lungs so DON'T SMOKE.
